 Welcome! The JCC Gators Swim & Dive Team has been around for over 50 years! We're a summer recreation league and operate under the Louisville Swim Association. Our Swim & Dive Season runs from May 27th - July 18th. Parents make the program possible, so we look forward to your ongoing volunteer support! Mandatory Parent & Gator Meeting The Mandatory Parent & Gator Meeting will be Tuesday, May 27 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Come meet the enitre coaching staff and ask questions about the summer season. Sign-ups for Volunteer Positions will be done at the meeting, so please bring your calendar and be prepared to sign-up. Volunteer Expectations At the time of registration, each family must present a $75 check to The Jewish Community Center. The check will be held and will not be cashed until July 24. All checks will be returned to families that volunteer and fufill their 14 points during the season. The "14 points Per Family" volunteer policy can be easily fulfilled (working half of a swim or dive meet equals 2 points per volunteer), and volunteer opportunities will run through Championships. Please Note: Due to the small number of volunteers available for Dive Team, it is expected that all Dive Team parents will volunteer at each meet. Swim and Dive Team Suits In order to decrease costs, a team suit is not required. To encourage team unity, we prefer for all members to wear black suits during Swim & Dive meets. A new JCC Gators swim cap will be given to each swimmer at no charge (though swimmers will have to pay for replacement caps). You’ll need to purchase goggles. Communications Updates and information will be communicated via email. Please make sure your email address is current. If weather is questionable, call the Gator Weather Hotline at 238-2792 one hour prior to practice or a meet.
